# View your notifications

> Open your notification inbox, filter and search it, mark notifications read, and see which events ION notifies you about.

The **Notifications** bell in the sidebar opens your inbox and shows a badge with your unread count. The inbox lists your most recent notifications. Select **See all notifications** to open the full Notifications page.

On the Notifications page you can:

* Search notifications by text.
* Filter by type with the **All types** menu.
* Show only unread notifications.
* Mark a single notification read or unread, or select **Mark visible as read** to clear everything on screen.
* Select **Load more** to load older notifications.

Notifications are grouped by age: **Today**, **Yesterday**, **This week**, and **Earlier**. Selecting one opens the object it refers to and marks it read.

## Notification events

You can receive these notifications. Filter the list by type to narrow it to one of them.

| Issues          | Created, status changed, assigned, approval request.                                                                                                |
| Further actions | Assigned, status changed (except to in progress or canceled), approval request.                                                                     |
| Procedures      | Status changed (except to draft or in review), released, approval request, review request, review rejected, redline approval request.               |
| mBOMs           | Status changed (except to draft or in review), released, approval request.                                                                          |
| Runs and steps  | Run assigned, run step assigned, run step failed, run step field assigned, datagrid value assigned, standard step approval request, inspection run. |
| Part kits       | Assigned, status changed to completed or canceled.                                                                                                  |
| Purchasing      | Purchase order assigned, approval request.                                                                                                          |
| System          | Import job completed.                                                                                                                               |
