The Data Connector is a read-only SQL analytics layer that mirrors your operational data, making the same data ION runs on queryable from any BI tool (such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Sigma) or downstream warehouse. You can tie ION data together with ERP, timekeeping, or other systems and run advanced analyses without going through the application UI. Select Data Connector in the ION sidebar to set up and manage your connection. When you complete onboarding, you become an admin, so you can add users and reset their passwords, create BI service users for tools and scripts, and open the warehouse to run SQL directly, all without filing a support request.

What’s in the replica

The connector exposes three tiers of tables: raw (a near 1:1 replica of each ION entity), cleaned (the same entities with cleanup applied, suffixed _enriched), and computed Data Products that pre-join and aggregate common views.
