Build and test a flow in your sandbox, then copy it to production. You duplicate the flow in Workflow Builder and switch its connections to production. You don’t need to export or import anything.
Workflow Builder must be enabled for your production organization. To have it turned on, contact support.firstresonance.io.

Copy a flow

  1. In sandbox ION, open Workflow Builder and find the flow you want to copy.
  2. Open the flow’s three-dot menu and select Duplicate.
  3. Rename the copy. For example, add “Production” to the name so you can tell the two flows apart.
  4. In the trigger step, change the Connection to a production connection. Select an existing production connection, or click Add new connection and enter the production API key credentials, as described in Create a flow.
  5. In every other ion-api step, change the Connection to the same production connection.
  6. Save and publish the new version.
Each step uses the connection you select. A step that keeps its sandbox connection still points at sandbox, so check every ion-api step before you publish.
