In ION, go to Analytics > Build Readiness. The surface has three sub-tabs: mBOM, aBOM, and Plans. Use it to answer: can I build this assembly today, what is short and what does the shortage cost, how far along is each as-built unit, and how fulfilled is each plan. Each detail table has an Export control that exports the table, with its current filters applied, to CSV.

mBOM

The default sub-tab measures whether stock covers each assembly’s mBOM. Filter by top-level Part Number, Rev, and Rev Match (All, Match, or Cross-Rev) to control whether inventory at a different revision counts toward readiness.
  • KPI cards: Average Readiness, Short Parts, Shortage Cost, Ready to Build (assemblies at 100% readiness), and Max Builds.
  • Part Fulfillment: components bucketed as No Stock, Short, or Fulfilled.
  • Top Shortage Parts: the parts with the highest shortage quantities.
  • mBOM Readiness Detail: a table grouped by assembly tree, with columns including Part, BOM Rev, Inv Rev, Rev Match, Qty Required, Qty Available, Qty On Order, Shortage, Shortage Cost, Readiness, and Max Builds, plus expandable Procedures and Suppliers details per part.

aBOM

Tracks installation progress and cost on as-built assemblies. Filter by Part Number, Rev, and Serial, and toggle Hide root nodes to drop top-level rows from the tree.
  • KPI cards: Total Cost, Total Parts, Fully Installed, and Open Issues.
  • Installation Status: installed versus not installed parts.
  • Parts by Level: part counts across BOM levels.
  • aBOM Detail: a table grouped by assembly tree, with columns including Required Part, Installed Part, Req Qty, Installed Qty, Installed, Unit Cost, Total Cost, Open Issues, and expandable Linked Runs and Linked POs details.
An Issues view within this sub-tab lists only the parts that carry issues, so you can see quality blockers on the build without leaving the tree.

Plans

Measures fulfillment per plan. Pick a plan from the Plan selector or view all plans at once.
  • KPI cards: Overall Fulfillment, Plans, On Hand, WIP, On Order, and Planned (quantity that still needs a PO or run).
  • Overall Status Distribution: quantities by supply status.
  • Status by Plan: the fulfillment breakdown per plan as stacked percentages.
  • Build Status Detail: a table with columns including Plan, Part, Sourcing, Total Qty, On Hand, WIP, On Order, Planned, Fulfilled, and PO Supplier.
