In ION, go to Analytics > Inventory. The surface has three sub-tabs: Inventory, Transaction History, and Expiring Inventory. Use it to answer: how much stock is available, where is it, what moved and who moved it, and what expires soon. Each detail table has an Export control that exports the table, with its current filters applied, to CSV.

Inventory

The default sub-tab shows overall stock health:
  • KPI cards: Available Inventory, WIP, Total Kitted, and Expiring / Expired.
  • Inventory by Status: distribution of inventory lines across statuses such as available, wip, and kitted.
  • Top Locations: the ten locations holding the most inventory lines.
  • Inventory Detail: a table grouped by part, with cascading filters for part number, revision, trace, location, and status. Key columns include Part Number, Revision, Serial, Lot Number, Location, Status, Qty Total, Qty Available, and Qty Kitted.

Transaction History

A ledger of every inventory movement. Filter by inventory ID, From Location, To Location, and a date range. Columns include Timestamp, Part Number, Trace, Action, Quantity, From Status, To Status, From Location, To Location, and User, so you can trace what changed, where it went, and who did it.

Expiring Inventory

A table of inventory with expiration dates, showing Part Number, Serial, Lot, Qty Available, Expiration Date, Status (Expired or Good), and Location. Use it to pull expiring stock before it reaches the floor.
