Analytics is ION’s built-in dashboard area. It answers the highest-frequency operational questions, such as what stock is available, which assemblies are ready to build, which purchase order lines are past due, how old open issues are, and which runs are overdue, without leaving ION or setting up a BI tool. It differs from the Data Connector, which is a read-only SQL layer for building your own reports in an external BI tool; Analytics is the reporting ION ships with. You open it from Analytics in the left navigation. The page is organized into five tabs, one per surface: Every surface follows the same layout: a row of KPI cards at the top, charts in the middle, and a detail table at the bottom. Detail tables load more rows as you scroll, show the total row count in the footer, and include an Export button that saves the underlying data as a file. Two controls in the page header work across all tabs: a search box that matches a dashboard by name and jumps to it, and Refresh, which re-queries every widget on the current tab. Dashboards show only the data your role can access.
